Just discovered a lovely new -well, new to me- band, and wanted to share them with you guys! The Boy Least Likely To is an English pop indie band composed of the very talented duo Pete Hobbs and Joff Owen.
After listening to their first album, The Best Party Ever, I do believe I've fallen in love. Many songs in this album have a really nice laidback, catchy beat, with a couple different ones thrown into the mix like Monster and The Battle of The Boy Least likely To that are a little sadder or creepier.
The simplistic cover designs and drawings associated with this band are so endearing and cute! The music is rather the same, but if you actually listen to the lyrics there are some well thought out messages behind them.
I think the band is definitively under recognized in comparison to their talent, so go on and check them out! Some of my favorites from this album include The Battle of The Boy Least likely To, I'm Glad I Hitched My Apple Wagon to Your Star, and Be Gentle With Me.
